Suspect Arrested After Intense Police Pursuit from Madison
Latest News – A man was apprehended on Friday following a police chase in Madison, Indiana, adding another chapter to an unfolding incident. The Kentucky State Police received a request for assistance from the Madison Indiana Police Department, who were actively pursuing the suspect.
The pursuit unfolded, heading towards Trimble County, and it was revealed that the individual being pursued was the main suspect in an ongoing investigation involving domestic violence and kidnapping in Indiana.
Responding swiftly, KSP Troopers made their way to the Milton area. The suspect’s vehicle bolted across the Milton/Madison bridge, crossing into Kentucky at a considerable speed. To halt the chase, law enforcement employed a tire deflation device, hoping to disable the fleeing vehicle.
Despite the tires gradually losing air, the car persisted along Highway 421 for approximately three miles before finally coming to a halt. Seizing the opportunity, the driver swiftly abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.
Shortly thereafter, KSP successfully apprehended the suspect and took him into custody, making sure about public safety. The driver’s identity was revealed as James Ingram, hailing from Bedford, Indiana. Ingram now faces multiple charges in Kentucky, including fleeing from police, wanton endangerment, resisting arrest, and other related offenses.
