Carjackers at Large After Targeting Man in Northeast Houston
Latest News – A man fixing a flat tire in northeast Houston fell victim to a group of carjackers who are currently on the loose, as per authorities. The incident took place on April 16 on Mesa Drive near Tidwell, but the thieves remain unidentified. The victim, a 45-year-old, had just finished repairing his flat tire when six males approached him, requesting a dollar.
Compliance led to an unexpected turn of events when the victim was held up at gunpoint. Surveillance footage, captured the suspects fleeing in the victim’s car which later on got revealed to be a rental vehicle. Houston police found the car the following morning in Seeker’s 9700 block. To aid in their apprehension, Crime Stoppers of Houston has offered a reward for valuable information leading to an arrest.
